All Your Perfects is a novel written by the infamous, yet controversial, Colleen Hoover. The book itself covers the difficult topics of infertility and the resulting looming divorce of a couple and flashes back and forth between the failing marriage and the couple’s backstory of falling in love.
I myself am typically a big Colleen Hoover fan. However, I felt that this book failed to live up to my expectations. The writing was okay, and the storyline was predictable. The characters seemed bland compared to the author’s normally life-like creations, and overall the story just was not as interesting as I expected it to be. Although sad, it was not tear-jerking or heartbreaking. Overall, I feel that the novel was well thought out and a good idea, but was not executed to the fullest extent of its potential.
