Adele Adkins, widely known as Adele, is an English singer and songwriter. From 2006 to the present, Adele has made four studio albums, one video album, seventeen music videos, and two Extended Plays (EP). The last album Adele released was “30” on November 19, 2021. Before that, her previous album “25” was released November 20, 2015.

The six-year difference left Adele fans wanting more each year. Before the actual release date of “30”, Adele released the single “Easy On Me”, which stayed at number one on the Hot 100 for 10 weeks.  Adele has been on tour since November 20, 2022. The album was inspired by her divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki. The weekend of November 4, 2023, marked weekend 34 for the “30”.

In an Interview, Adele talks about how music is her therapy. “I’m never going into the studio to be like, ‘Right, I need another hit.’ It’s not like that for me,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. Adele has made an overall impact on the music industry being 7th most popular pop music artist and the 2nd most popular contemporary music artist.

Even the music videos to the songs show the emotions and tell the story that she is trying to get across. When it comes to listening to Adele, and just music in general, you should really analyze what the artist is trying to say and the point they are trying to get across, while also focusing on the emotions or events that inspired the song on a deeper level.

Everything we listen to as far as music has a meaning behind it. Music is not made and does not go viral worldwide without a reason. Adele and her music have made a huge impact on the music industry since 2006 and continues to grow her fan base as she continues to share her life through song.
