The movie Notting Hill was released in 1999, and is widely considered one of the peaks of 90’s romantic comedies. Personally, I would agree with this statement.
Notting Hill covers the story of a movie star who falls in love with a simple bookshop owner. Taking place in London and covering the span of several months, this movie is witty and sweet.
Notting Hill is easily one of my favorite movies to watch. This movie provides the perfect amount of nostalgia, comedy, romance, and emotion, and makes for one of the best comfort movies. All-in-all, Notting Hill has something for every viewer, and I would consider it worthy of a world-wide recommendation.
