The Giver cast has built a family-like foundation which makes preparing for shows much more fun and interesting.
“I love the theater community. Everyone on the cast and crew are so great to be around and that’s what makes theater so amazing to me,” Thomas Flamm (10) said.
Throughout each of the run-throughs and practices, each actor is able to learn greatly from their roles.
“The best part of playing Jonas is the opportunity to learn from this show and all the people involved and grow as an actor, as well as getting to personally share important messages and stories with an audience of people,” Olivia Giaretta (11) said.
Ella Moon (12) enjoys learning and reenacting the depth of each scene.
“My favorite science is the war scene because it shows you just how drastic one memory can haunt the mind and one memory could help forget about it in a matter of seconds,” Moon said.
