Post Malone – New Country Superstar?

Post Malone - New Country Superstar?

With his release of “Stoney” in 2016, Post Malone became a household name. Not only does he release songs that people relate to, but he is also a genuine person all around.

My favorite album from Malone was “Austin,” one of his newest album drops. This album tells us the story of Malone’s life, showcasing how he got to where he is now. My favorite song in the album, “Chemical,” showcases the love and loss that Malone faced throughout his life. The song spoke to many people, hitting #13 on the Top 100 Billboard charts.

On another one of his latest albums, “Twelve Carat Toothcache,” Malone dropped a song called “Lemontree.” This song showcased some of Malone’s southern twang, which caused an outcry from Malone’s audience. Malone’s audience begged him for more country music from him, and on May 10, 2024, he delivered. “I Had Some Help” sung by Morgan Wallen and Post Malone was teased for weeks on social media, and fans were ecstatic when it was finally dropped.

“I Had Some Help” was such a hit that it immediately hit #1 on the Global 200 billboards. Malone also showcased his country talent at the Academy of Country Music Awards 2024, singing both “I Had Some Help” and leaking a new song that we have yet to know the name of.

There are also rumors that Malone will be releasing a country album, with rumors saying that artists like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and Luke Combs will be featured.

Overall, I am excited to see where Malone’s career in country music goes. As a country music fan, I can only hope he continues to make songs as exceptional as “I Had Some Help.”
