Even though summer is already coming to an end, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N Sweet album is definitely a warm-weather album. Beginning with Taste, it was off to a great start. I love the upbeat sounds and vibe, I can definitely see myself listening to this with friends on a hot summer day. Although I usually listen to other types of music, this album can definitely be an exception. After listening to the whole album, my top three are probably Bed Chem, Juno, and Taste. My least favorite is Please, Please, Please. It is a great song, it’s just been overplayed and I am getting tired of it. I’m sure if it wasn’t, it would be in my top three, but after hearing it so many times, it just doesn’t appeal to me in the way it did the first time I listened to it.
Overall: This was a great album, and I really enjoy Sabrina Carpenter’s vocals. It’s perfect for getting ready with friends, driving, or just tanning. It reminds me of summer in a lot of different ways, and I definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying out her music.
