The highly-awaited Chick-fil-A in Crown Point opened up last Thursday on September 12th, finally providing us with our very own place to get the best chicken. The plans for this fast food restaurant have been in the works for over a year, and now that it is finally here, people are sure showing their appreciation for it.

The line in the drive-thru has been pretty long since they opened, especially during the lunch and dinner rush, but the staff have been doing a great job of keeping it under control. The wait is never too long despite the high demand, and the workers still have the classic “My pleasure” catchphrase. The inside of the new building definitely has a modern spin to it, and is visually appealing and clean. There was also a play place, which surprised me but I’m sure benefits many parents.

Lots of people seemed to be enjoying the new restaurant, as it was pretty busy inside. However, the food retained its amazing quality and taste. Hopefully there will continue to be good additions to the small strip-like area on 109th, but for now the new Chick-Fil-A is a great place to stop at if you happen to be passing by.
