The student becomes the teacher
Senior Spotlight

Crown Point High School offers many pathways, early education being one of them. Being a teacher is slowly becoming a more sought-after position but more specifically in the elementary level.

Senior Madeline Zaleski is planning on moving to North Carolina to take a gap year. After that, she will continue her college hunt in Charlotte. Don’t be mistaken though, her gap year will not be just sitting around. Since she knows she has the heart to teach she will apply for positions at different schools in the district, hoping she can secure a job at one of the schools nearby.

In order to prepare for this life full of teaching she is able to take classes and do an internship that allows her to go to certain elementary schools in Crown Point and be a teacher aide.

Although she is so excited to continue her life of teaching children she is also planning on traveling as much as she can, incorporating her passion for teaching by being a teacher in countries all over the world and teaching little kids important knowledge. It is always important to love what you do, and in this case, Zaleski is ready to become the teacher every kid wishes to have.
