Mental health is a continuing struggle amongst teens and young adults. That’s why senior Isabel Egner is pursuing psychology, more specifically physiatry.
After having taken the course provided at the high school sophomore year Egner couldn’t get enough. Ensuring that she could take sociology, a class similar but more so about human interactions and communications, next year as a junior.
Although choosing a profession can be difficult, Egner is determined. She has applied to IU Bloomington where she will further her studies and get a degree in psychology.
Wherever the road takes her she knows that psychology and the act of helping others combat their illnesses will continue to drive her for the rest of her adult career.
