Seniors have many choices they are faced with regarding what they are able to do after high school. It’s not often you see a student like senior David Pineda so eager to serve our country.
Pineda is training himself both mentally and physically so that he is prepared for boot camp. This career for him is long term, he is starting with an eight year commitment but could ultimately make the jump to 20 years.
The decision is tough but he knows that the hardships he will endure, the brotherhoods he will form and the personal growth and development prepare him for whatever else he is faced with through life.
Although this is going to be a long and daunting era, Pineda is planning on focusing on his entrepreneurial career soon after he gets out.
With much determination Pineda is able to follow both his grandfather, who was in the marines, and his uncle, who was in the army.
It takes a lot of courage to make big decisions at such a young age, especially ones that entail you risking your life for others. The crown town media staff wishes David Pineda the best of luck, thank you for your service.
