Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President on January 20th at the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. His second presidency will run from 2025 until 2029.

During the inauguration process, the electee will normally arrive at the white house and meet with the current President. The electee will then take the Oath of Office, and deliver the inaugural address.

President Trump has made many promises for his goals during his 2025 Presidency, including tax regulations, involvement with the Ukrainian war, and deportation of illegal immigrants.

He has said he intends on cutting taxes and upping tariffs of imported goods.  He also plans on expanding on his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) from his former 2017 presidency.

According to the BBC, imports from China could have tariffs of up to 60%, which could have detrimental effects on prices of middle- to lower-class individuals.

He also has said that he wants to “end” the Ukrainian war within 24 hours of his presidency, according to the BBC. However, he is also against foreign policy affairs, and wants to cut connections with those who are involved in conflict not directly relating to us.

Future President Donald Trump also intends on the biggest deportation of illegal immigrants the nation has ever seen. He is set on finishing his wall building project from his 2017 presidency.

Overall, Trump’s inauguration for the 2025 term will cause substantial changes within the United States. With the government trifecta and Trump’s policies, the country should expect to have to adjust to the different political presentation.
