Raquel Ruffin, Website and Social Media Designer
Raquel Ruffin is a senior at Crown Point High School, and it is her third year on staff. She is the Website and Social Media Designer for Excalibur Yearbook and Inklings Newspaper. She has always had a passion and interest in photography and design, which she has nurtured through classes such as photojournalism, Graphic Imaging Technology, and yearbook. Outside of yearbook, Ruffin is the head stage manager for the CPHS Theatre department and a light and sound crew member. Ruffin is also involved in NHS, NAHS, Student Council, CASS, and the school’s graphic design club, SPLAT. Ruffin loves exploring many different creative aspects of her life through all of these activities.

Makenna Carmichael, Website and Social Media Editor
Makenna Carmichael is a senior at Crown Point High School. This is Carmichael’s third year on staff. She is the Website and Social Media Editor for Excalibur Yearbook and Inklings Newspaper. Carmichael’s love for photography and writing drove her to join the yearbook and Inklings staff. Carmichael works as a STEAM teacher at the YMCA and as a gardener at Practically Magic Garden. She also does freelance senior and portrait photography. When not working or in the journalism room, Carmichael enjoys performing with the school’s color guard, doing art in the National Art Honor Society and SPLAT club, working with the theatre’s publicity crew, and being a bulldog mentor.
