The boys and girls swim team celebrated their senior night. Nine seniors were honored for their accomplishments in this program. Crown Point completed against Michigan City with a win for boys with 118-60 and girls with 129-41. “It’s always a really fun night even though it sucks saying goodbye to the seniors,” Abigail Dlugokinski (11) said.

Alyssa Torres, Advanced Coverage Editor

Alyssa Torres is a junior at CPHS. This is Torres’ third year on staff. Torres is the Advanced Coverage Editor this year for the Excalibur Yearbook, so she will provide fair coverage for students. Torres’ passion for writing inspired her to join staff. She enjoys writing copies and stories about sports and clubs. Outside of the yearbook staff, Torres is involved in Student Council, Key Club, wrestling manager, Mock Trial, and CASS.

Abigail Vester, Staff

Abby Vester is a sophomore at CPHS. This is Vester’s second year on Excalibur staff and loves photography. Vester initially sparked an interest in yearbook and photography over the summer before her freshman year. She enjoys taking photos of dance, cheer, and other sports. Other than yearbook, Vester was also on the CPHS tennis team last year and is aiming to make the team this year. She is also going to be involved with CASS and Key Club this year.
