The boys and girls swim team took on Michigan City on January 29th. They valiantly defeated Michigan City with a score of 60 – 118. “Swim is a mindset game, you already swam the event you just have to swim it now,” Alexandria Calzonzi (11) said.

Alyssa Torres, Advanced Coverage Editor

Alyssa Torres is a junior at CPHS. This is Torres’ third year on staff. Torres is the Advanced Coverage Editor this year for the Excalibur Yearbook, so she will provide fair coverage for students. Torres’ passion for writing inspired her to join staff. She enjoys writing copies and stories about sports and clubs. Outside of the yearbook staff, Torres is involved in Student Council, Key Club, wrestling manager, Mock Trial, and CASS.

Abigail Vester, Staff

Abby Vester is a sophomore at CPHS. This is Vester’s second year on Excalibur staff and loves photography. Vester initially sparked an interest in yearbook and photography over the summer before her freshman year. She enjoys taking photos of dance, cheer, and other sports. Other than yearbook, Vester was also on the CPHS tennis team last year and is aiming to make the team this year. She is also going to be involved with CASS and Key Club this year.

Sophia Snyder, Staff

Sophia Snyder is a freshman at Crown Point High School. This is Snyder’s first year on the Excalibur Yearbook staff. Syder’s love for photography drove her to join the yearbook staff. Outside of yearbook, Snyder does Cheer and Diving for the high school. Snyder hopes to make the diving team this winter in hopes of competing at state. In her free time, Snyder enjoys cooking, reading, and watching movies. Snyder hopes to go to college for accounting or entrepreneurship, and one day own her own business.
