Capturing the eye is a very important technique that pulls people in. Senior Elizabeth Lunn plans to attend IU Bloomington, majoring in interior design and minoring in business management.
Ever since she was little, she knew she wanted to go into some form of design when she was older. And it wasn’t until Covid, when she became engulfed in the channel HGTV, watching all the house flips and house designs that she solidified just what type of design she wanted to pursue. Luckily for this era, we need to please the eye, and interior design is a great way to do so.
Feeding her curiosity she began an internship for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year at IIG, an interior design company right off Broadway. After loved that internship, it reassured her of her oncoming future.
As for business management, following in her father’s footsteps she eventually plans to utilize that minor and move to Chicago with her cousins, work for a few years and get ahold of the ropes, and then, open her own business, focusing on interior design.
With art there are so many avenues, and to create a beautiful space where people can live comfortably is so important. For Elizabeth Lunn interior design will become much more than just a comfortable space, it is her lifelong dream of creating, coming true.
