Everyone has their shtick, for senior Emilia Wilson, it’s chemistry. Since sophomore year DC chemistry, she fell in love leading her to take AP chemistry junior year and eventually choosing her college major.

Wilson is going to attend Purdue West Lafayette and major in chemical engineering. Loving math, chemistry was the perfect course she could have taken being a combination of math and different math concepts that she found fun and enjoyable to do.
On the other hand, Wilson is the only family member in chemical engineering that she is aware of, in her family. However, that did not stop her. Her parents have many connections to multiple outstanding chemical engineers that she has had opportunities to talk with about certain subjects she may be questioning or just conversate with in general.
Currently, Wilson is pretty preoccupied with the end-of-year busyness but has made it a point to tour campuses and talk to other chemical engineers. Once she is a little less preoccupied with school she is planning to focus on her upcoming career, even more.
