As Schererville’s Southlake mall continues to open and close some of it’s stores, students from CPHS, varying in age and grade, paint murals on the empty windows of the store front. Adding a spice of local character to the environment and allowing the students to showcase their artistic abilities whilst utilizing them for good.

Katie Mahle, Print Design Manager
Katie Mahle is a senior at Crown Point High School. This is her fourth year going through the journalism program that the students are offered. She is the manager of design. While doing this she is also president of the Interact club at the High school, as well as being the leader for Windfall; a creative writing club that allows students to express their creativity. After college, she plans on going to Hawaii to take a gap year to study the bible and discover if nursing is really something that she would like to pursue in the future.
