In the age of skincare and beauty that we live in, lip products have been hugely popular, especially the Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm. Before purchasing this product, I had heard nothing but good things about it– how moisturizing it was, how the color and texture were perfect, and how the scent left you wanting more. Needless to say, I wasn’t entirely disappointed by this product. I bought it in the shade Brown Sugar, and I will say the tint was perfect for a glossy balm, the scent lived up to its reputation, and the texture didn’t leave my lips feeling sticky. However, I felt that the moisturizing properties could’ve been better and the product doesn’t last on your lips for as long as it could. As a huge collector of lip products, I did like this and would repurchase it again, but it is not my favorite product out there. I would give it a 7/10 and overall would recommend it if you’re looking for a simple and enhancing finish to your lips.
