Our team placed 4th at Valparaiso‘s Dr. Larry Stuber Debate tournament. Iris Estrada won the novice Lincoln-Douglas division. Our World Schools teams placed 3rd and 5th.

At our home tournament, we hosted 12 teams to compete in a variety of speech and debate events. Our team had 14 students compete in various speech and debate events including public forum, radio broadcasting and even improv duo. In Debate, our world schools team placed 4th. Gabi Stabler placed 4th and Sophia Knipper placed 6th in radio broadcasting.

Hailey Ziolkowski, Staff
Hailey Ziolkowski is a freshman at Crown Point High School. This is Ziolkowski’s first year on the Excalibur Yearbook staff, but she worked on the yearbook in 7th and 8th grade at Taft Middle School. Ziolkowski always had an interest in photography and journalism. Ziolkowski is involved in basketball and golf. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends and family, practicing basketball, and playing golf. Ziolkowski hopes to become an orthodontist in the future.
