Iris Estrada, Lead Writer
Iris Estrada is a junior at Crown Point High School. This is Iris’ first year on Inklings and she is most interested in sports writing and photography. Iris is also Speech captain of the school's Speech and Debate team, participates in BPA, and is an active member of the school’s student council. Iris hopes to one day major in business, and have a career in sports marketing. In her free time, she is most often found practicing violin or piano, or listening to music.
Raquel Ruffin, Website and Social Media Designer
Raquel Ruffin is a senior at Crown Point High School, and it is her third year on staff. She is the Website and Social Media Designer for Excalibur Yearbook and Inklings Newspaper. She has always had a passion and interest in photography and design, which she has nurtured through classes such as photojournalism, Graphic Imaging Technology, and yearbook. Outside of yearbook, Ruffin is the head stage manager for the CPHS Theatre department and a light and sound crew member. Ruffin is also involved in NHS, NAHS, Student Council, CASS, and the school's graphic design club, SPLAT. Ruffin loves exploring many different creative aspects of her life through all of these activities.
