Elayna Hayden, Staff
Elayna Hayden is a sophomore at Crown Point High School. This is Hayden’s second year on the Excalibur staff. Hayden’s love for journalism started when she was in 5th grade. Hayden’s writing skills have progressed immensely throughout the years, and she even writes short stories in her free time. Hayden also enjoys taking pictures of wildlife whenever she is in a new place. Hayden is involved in Student Council and Key Club at the high school. Hayden’s goal is to study environmental and marine science in college, and she hopes to enter a career where she can care for and help the environment in any way she can.
Samantha Uren, Public Relations Manager
Samantha Uren is a junior at Crown Point High School, this is her second year on the Excalibur Yearbook staff. Uren is the Public Relations Manager of the Excalibur Yearbook. Growing up, Uren’s mom was a photographer and this led to Uren’s interest in photography and design. In the past, Uren has been the social media manager for a few businesses/organizations. When she’s not in school, Uren enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Uren currently plans to go to school to study communications.
