Recently released, “A Minecraft Movie” has rapidly gained fan approval and popularity. McDonald’s even had a meal dedicated to it called the “Flint and Meal”. I saw this movie on April 4, the day it was released in theaters. The movie was honestly good, though many people say it was more cringey. However, the movie was not created to be top-tier, it was made to be for children and fans of the game. It is supposed to be funny, and it really was. The whole theatre erupted with cheers and applause whenever a famous quote from the trailer was said, and it was thrilling to be a part of it. The songs from the movie were very catchy. Even now, days later, they are still stuck in my head. Overall, I would rate this movie around a 9 out of 10. It was funny and entertaining, and I am so happy I was able to go. I just wish the featured youtubers, DanTDM, LDShadowlady, Aphmau, Mumbo Jumbo, and Notable Mentions received more screen time. I would definitely recommend watching the new Minecraft Movie.
