The world is so much bigger than we know, and we can go anywhere, especially with the technology that senior Alison Luka is planning on building and engineering in the future.
Two states over in Iowa, up in the Northeast Luka is planning on going to Northeast Iowa for aeronautical engineering. As a kid, she always wanted to build things and she decided to mash that love for building with the love she had for space, which stemmed from her idea of going into the aeronautical field where she would be able to build both planes and rockets, hopefully sending people to space and all around the world.

Northeastern Iowa is quite far away, for Luka though she was given a softball scholarship and decided that she would commit and play softball for them there.
She has been in love with the game since five years old, and now, although it is not the Crown Point high school team it is still the Crown Point travel team, where she will compete in different tournaments around the state.
Although the world is so big, the little things still matter, and it’s great engineers like Luka who allow society to experience the otherworldly beauty that we can’t see with the naked eye.
