MiRey Fernandez, Staff
MiRey Fernandez is an award winning senior at Crown Point High School and this is his fourth year with Crown Town Media. Fernandez has a great interest in sports-broadcasting. During his time with the program, Fernandez has been voted Best All-Around Broadcaster, and Best On-Air Personality by his classmates, as well as multiple state awards and national nominations for his work. He is a co-host on The DOG Radio’s award winning sports talk show, “Dog Pound Chalk Talk & Dirt”, which airs Mondays and Fridays at 5 & 10 PM. Fernandez also is a commentator for all sports broadcasts at CPHS. Fernandez dreams to be a NFL commentator or work for ESPN one day.

Gabe Trevino, Staff
Gabe Trevino is a sophomore at CPHS and this is his second year with Crown Town Media. He joined this class due to his interest in Sports Broadcasting and his dreams of becoming a professional sports broadcaster. Gabe is currently involved with the sports talk show, Dog Pound, on the Dog Radio but soon to also be on TV. He also has broadcast many basketball and baseball games both at color and play by play. He hopes the start of his dreams begin here at CPHS and at Purdue University where he plans to go to college to pursue a career in Sports Broadcasting.

Aiden Hielema, Staff
Aiden Hielema is a junior at CPHS and in his third year with Crown Town Media. He joined because he enjoys looking at things behind the scenes and quickly discovered a love for radio and television broadcasting. Hielema enjoys radio production work and operating social media for the CPHS Athletic Department. Outside of CTM, he enjoys marching band and light and sound for the theater department. He plans on going to Indiana University and majoring in media. You can catch Hielema on Jam Sessions every Wednesday at 5 and 10 and taking pictures on the sidelines of almost every Crown Point Athletics game.

Sarah Hlebasko, Staff
Sarah Hlebasko is a senior at CPHS. This is her fourth year with Crown Town Media. Hlebasko became fascinated with multi-media with many branches or career opportunities especially becoming fascinated with sound designing when she attended the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters conference. She produces a music review and reaction show called Jam Sessions with her co-hosts RJ Swiedals and Adien Hielema every Wednesday at 5pm and 10pm. She previously produced a political talk show called Out of Left Field. She plans to attend the University of Barcelona in Spain, to major in Cybersecurity. Aside from CTM, Hlebasko is also part of the CASS mentoring program and performs with the CPHS Royal Regiment Marching Band, Pep Band, Wind Symphony Orchestra and Advanced concert band.

RJ Swiedals, Staff
RJ Swiedals is a junior at CPHS and this is his third year with CTM. RJ has been interested in news and production and he was able to meet Tom Skilling after watching WGN growing up, which caused his passion for CTM. He enjoys voice tracking and loves hearing how it affected a listener’s day. He also works the cameras for the CPHS football games every Friday. He hopes to go to Indiana University to follow his dream of becoming involved with the production and behind the scenes of a major production one day. Catch him on Jam Sessions at 5PM and 10PM every Wednesday.

David Pineda, Staff
David Pineda is a senior at CPHS. This is his fourth year with Crown Town Media. Pineda became passionate about multimedia while taking the Principles of Broadcasting class along with being on The Dog Radio and getting into music and sports. Pineda has found work in video marketing and is working towards building his own video marketing agency. He is also engaged with the CPHS Spanish Club and looks to become a pilot while he builds his marketing agency.

Brody Kemp, Staff
Brody Kemp is a sophomore at CPHS and this is his second year with Crown Town Media. He joined to pursue his interest in sports broadcasting. Kemp was inspired by Joe Buck’s calling of Game 7 of the 2016 World Series and from then on, wanted to build a career in sports broadcasting. He plans to go to college to study and make a career out of sports broadcasting. Nowadays, Kemp, along with 3 others, are bringing CP sports to you on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 and 11:00 PM on the sports talk show, The Ruff Draft.

Cameron Qualls, Staff
Cameron Qualls is a junior at CPHS and in his 2nd year of radio and TV. Qualls has always loved film and broadcasting and he puts that love into his work. His current responsibilities include operating field cameras at home CPHS sports events. You can catch him on Thursdays at 5 and 10 pm on Party People, a political round table talk show with co-hosts MiRey Fernandez and Rachel Herman.

Amiyah Moss, Staff
Amiyah Moss is a sophomore at CPHS and this is her second year with Crown Town Media. She joined CTM after developing a keen interest in what goes on behind the scenes in news broadcasts. Through the program, Moss has developed a love for all types of radio work as well as nat-packs and stand-up video news packages. She can be found on the Dog Radio, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 5 pm. Outside of CPTV, Moss enjoys photo and video editing along with screenwriting.

Jordan Manojlovic, Staff
Jordan Manojlovic is a senior at CPHS. This is her fourth and final year with Crown Town Media. She became passionate about media when she was able to help record at the Chicago Emmy Awards. She can be found recording football games on Fridays. She has been voice tracking for the last two years and hopes to branch out into something bigger. You can hear her every weekday from 6:45-7:30 on The Morning Bark.
