Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District hosted its annual T-shirt design contest. CPHS had several winners. Elyse Anderson is a junior at Crown Point High School. This is Anderson’s third year on the Excalibur staff, but this is her fourth year working on a yearbook, since she was on her middle school’s staff in 8th grade. Anderson is an outgoing person who joined because of her passion for writing and taking creative photos. Other than being on the yearbook staff, Anderson is an avid photographer who was hired to take pictures for a 2024 candidate for Congress in D.C. Outside of taking photos, Anderson also has a passion for flying planes and plans to get her pilot’s license in the near future. When Anderson graduates, she aspires to become a medical device representative.
