The Bulldogs shut out Chesterton with a score of 10 – 0. Pitcher Lexi Smith kept control of the game by only allowing two hits and no runs. The scoring for the Bulldogs began in the first inning when Emily Phillips hit a double and was able to score after Scarlette Tegtman hit a single to center field. In the second inning, the Bulldogs put four more runs under their belt. Claiming the spot of the first baserunner, Aubrey Wroble hit a single. With the help of a single from Ashlyn Kita, Wroble and Tegtman were able to score. Kita was then able to score, along with Jasmine Nichols, when Lexi Howard singled. The Bulldogs were then able to add three more runs in the fourth inning when Samara Franson hit a triple to right field, allowing Kendra Steinberg and Howard to score.
