Raquel Ruffin, Website and Social Media Designer
Raquel Ruffin is a senior at Crown Point High School, and it is her third year on staff. She is the Website and Social Media Designer for Excalibur Yearbook and Inklings Newspaper. She has always had a passion and interest in photography and design, which she has nurtured through classes such as photojournalism, Graphic Imaging Technology, and yearbook. Outside of yearbook, Ruffin is the head stage manager for the CPHS Theatre department and a light and sound crew member. Ruffin is also involved in NHS, NAHS, Student Council, CASS, and the school’s graphic design club, SPLAT. Ruffin loves exploring many different creative aspects of her life through all of these activities.
Duaa Khan, Copy Editor
Duaa Khan is a junior at CPHS. Khan is the Copy Editor and the Multimedia Editor for Excalibur yearbook. Khan is involved in many activities around the school, such as Mock Trial, UCC, and is an NHS director. Khan is also the host of the psychology-based show “CP in Session.” Khan is involved in HUM, a northwest Indiana-based cultural dance and performance group. In her free time, Khan loves to read, watch movies, and listen to music. She plans to study psychiatry and become a professor later in her career.
Dannii Bukovic, Excalibur Staff
Dannii Bukovic is a junior at Crown Point High School. This is Bukovic’s second year on the Excalibur staff. Bukovic took photojournalism in her sophomore year, and was convinced by a friend from yearbook to join. Bukovic joined yearbook to capture moments through photo taking and writing stories about those photos taken. Outside of yearbook, Bukovic is a football manager for the football team at CPHS and plays travel softball.
