March 13, 2025 – Crown Point – Crown Point High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter recently showcased its talent at the State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, held March 9–11. The event brought together 1,379 delegates from across Indiana to compete in business, finance, technology, marketing, and health administration skills competitions. In addition to competing, students attended leadership seminars and were recognized for their achievements in community service, Torch Awards, and competitive events.
A highlight of the conference was the election of new state officers, where Crown Point High School continued its streak of leadership excellence. For the 2025–2026 school year, Mason Erbini will serve as the Indiana BPA Region 1 President, marking the fourth consecutive year a CPHS student has held this position. Additionally, Panagiotis Mattingly was elected as President of Indiana BPA, succeeding CPHS’s own Miles Warren. This achievement makes it the second consecutive year CPHS has produced a state-level president. Further showcasing their creativity, Jake Baumann won the prestigious pin design contest, meaning his design will be traded by competitors across Indiana at the National Leadership Conference (NLC).
A total of 72 CPHS students competed at the state conference, participating individually and in teams across a wide range of events, including:
