China’s Walker S2 humanoid robot is making headlines for all of the activities it can perform. Not only can it do everything a normal humanoid can, but it is the world’s first ever robot to be able to remove and recharge its own battery without any human intervention.
The 5’3” tall and 95 pound robot can walk continuously for two entire hours or stay standing for four hours. Once its battery is out, it takes 90 minutes to fully recharge. The humanoid is meant to exclusively be used in factory settings and to greet humans at public venues across the nation.
