The Crown Point High School Athletic Department, in partnership with the Indiana High School Athletic Association and CPHS’s Radio & TV program, launched their own livestream broadcasting sports network for the 2025-2026 school year.
Titled “The Bulldog Network,” the new platform features broadcasts of many CPHS home varsity sports events such as football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.
The network was designed and executively produced by Crown Town Media Director and Adviser Chris Gloff. For CPHS Athletic Director Bill Dorulla, this network has been a long-term vision. “We have a long history and large community of high school sport fans in Crown Point and we want to share our athletic events with the community and beyond,” Dorulla said. “There are family members and friends who live far away and technology has developed to a point where we can easily stream our events for our extended community who can’t make it to our stadiums, fields and courts.”
Games will be broadcast in conjunction with the Indiana High School Athletic Association’s IHSAA Champions Network, and links to broadcasts will be posted on CPHS Athletic Department’s website homepage, which was redesigned to be hosted on a new platform and with a new appearance. “The new website will be much cleaner and easier to navigate for the user,” Gloff said. “All broadcasts will be produced and directed by CPHS’s radio & TV broadcast program, Crown Town Media students operate cameras, direct technology and provide play by play and game analysis for all broadcasts.”
The opportunities The Bulldog Network provides students at CPHS are unparalleled. “I have been blessed with many opportunities such as working at the Chicago Regional Emmy Awards and meeting famous news anchors like John Quin and Cheryl Scott,” senior Ariana Pantoja said.
Watching Crown Point High School’s athletic competitions and games is now easier than ever for students and parents alike, as The Bulldog Network focuses on reaching a broad audience. CPHS student Aliya Bender shares her excitement for the accessability provided by the network’s release. “If people have work and can’t make it to a game, I think that a new broadcasting network for sports will be really nice for students and parents, so they can still watch their team win,” Bender said. “Because we’re Crown Point and we win.”
