7 Brew Coffee, a shop known for their wide assortment of drinks, will be coming to Crown Point. This will be the second Lake County 7 Brew location, following the site in Dyer.

7 Brew has been the talk of the town recently, with lines at the Dyer location stretching from around the building to down Route 30.
Many residents of Crown Point have taken the drive to Dyer just to try 7 Brew’s wide selection of beverages. “I think 7 Brew’s unique options make the drive out to Dyer worth it,” junior Jamie Derflinger said. “Once they open the location in Crown Point, I’m sure it’ll always be busy.”

7 Brew’s grand opening will happen on November 10. The coffee stop is located on Broadway, next to the Panda Express. The shop itself does not have an inside area for people to sit in, so the establishment is drive-thru only. With this addition to Crown Point, there is much more variety when it comes to getting a quick pick-me-up. Additionally, driving out to Dyer will no longer be necessary.

Although 7 Brew only has coffee in its title, the shop sells much more, including teas, lemonades, energy drinks, smoothies, and shakes. All of the drinks are also customizable. 7 Brew offers additional flavor shots, sauces, and sugar-free options for their beverages. According to the 7 Brew website, there are over 20,000 different drink combinations available for purchase. They also offer vegan options for more inclusivity.

In addition, there is also a ‘secret’ menu, offering even more choices for customers. You can find both the official menu and secret beverages online. Some secret flavors include smores, salted pumpkin, shortbread, and tootsie pop.

Prices tend to range from around four to six dollars for a beverage. 7 Brew’s energy drinks cost a little more, ranging from seven to ten dollars.

All in all, 7 Brew’s opening is a convenience to many repeat customers of the Dyer location and offers a variety of new options for those who have not yet bought from the business.
