System of a Down has been a favorite band of mine ever since childhood, so the chance to see them live was an honor. The concert was shared with several family members who have also been longtime fans of System of a Down, making the night even more memorable.
Avenged Sevenfold was also part of the lineup, and although their music is not as familiar, experiencing their performance live was exhilarating. Some songs were missed, but the ones that they played were powerful and unforgettable.
System of a Down was the last band to come out for the night and they opened with their hit song B.Y.O.B, making a wild entrance to the night. The entire experience was surreal, like a childhood dream come to life.
Every song was performed with incredible energy, including Snowblind, played as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
Few things can compare to how it feels to be in the same room as a favorite music artist or band, and it is nearly impossible to describe. It felt like a dream, almost unreal.
Experiencing this for the first and probably last time in my lifetime is an incredibly crazy thought. The whole experience was entirely phenomenal.
Having this concert as a life-long memory that can always be looked back on is a gift. Being able to be at this concert is something that anyone would cherish for a lifetime to come.
