Excalibur Yearbook, CPTV, Inklings News, and Dog Radio all contribute to the new website Crown Town Media. This concept mimics how professional news teams work together under one umbrella to share content and tell multi-media stories. Bringing everyone together, students got to tour IU and Franklin College and overall bond with each other. Students had the amazing opportunity to learn more about journalism and possible careers related from the one and only Carole Simpson. After just one year of this website being created, students won the Hoosier Star which is the highest award from the Indiana Highschool Press Association.

Lucy Keene, Staffer
Lucy Keene is a freshman at Crown Point High School. This is her first year on the Excalibur Yearbook staff. Keene always liked taking photos and telling stories. Growing up with her mom as the yearbook teacher, she’s always been surrounded by journalistic life. Keene did yearbook in her 7th and 8th grade year and plans to pursue yearbook all four years of high school. Keene has done weightlifting with her sister, Vivian Keene, since the end of 8th grade. Keene is unsure about what she wants to do as a career, but she joined Student Council and Key Club to get involved and hopefully be introduced to new opportunities.
