Rory Gilmore is a smart girl, and kind, has a sense of humor, and is in the Newspaper at school got over a 4.0 GPA. As she continues through high school and college she has ups and downs with many different relationships.
Specifically, romantic relationships are usually the center of attention, yet family members take focus at times. Rory’s mother, Lorelai Gilmore, is a woman who has a sense of humor, is beautiful, and is independent. This mother-and-daughter relationship always comes back around to talking and giving advice and encouraging one another for the better. They see intelligence and resilience in the future for both of them.
Lorelai is the head of Independent Inn and plans on owning her own. Rory is a girl who had a dream to go to Harvard to become a journalist, but goes to Yale and works her way up into that field.
Gilmore Girls does a fantastic job of showing the dynamics of a mother-daughter relationship where relationships clash, yet reconciliation is always the victor.
