About the Contributors
Makenna Carmichael
Makenna Carmichael is a junior at Crown Point High School. This is Carmichael’s second year on staff. Carmichael’s love for photography and writing drove her to join the yearbook staff. When not in yearbook, Carmichael enjoys performing with the school’s Color Guard, doing art in National Art Honor Society and Art Club, working with the theater’s publicity crew, and working at the Practically Magic Garden. Carmichael hopes to one day become a speech pathologist.
Jacob Arona
Jacob Arona, Staffer
Jacob Arona is a sophomore at Crown Point High School. This is Arona’s first year on the Excalibur Yearbook staff and his first year working on a yearbook in general. Arona used to be in a photography club and newspaper club back in 4th and 7th grade. In Arona’s free time, when he is not focusing on the yearbook, he works out at the YMCA, goes on bike rides with friends, makes TikTok skits, and plays on his PS5. Once he graduates high school, he hopes to pursue his dream of working in cybersecurity.
