May 14, 2024 – Crown Point – Students from Crown Point High School’s BPA chapter recently competed at the National Leadership Conference in Chicago, May 10 through 13, among 6,500 attendees from 800 school chapters.
CPHS student competitors included: Ari Bairaktaris, Jake Baumann, Aiden Couwenhoven, Mason Erbini, Panagiotis Mattingly, Xzavier Menchaca, Mary Mumaugh, Parker Niksch, Devion Outten, Cesar Querimit, and Trent Tillich. Student competitors in Computer Modeling, Entrepreneurship, Parliamentary Procedure Team, and Presentation Individual will be honored at the CPHS School Board Meeting on Monday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m.
“Competing at the national leadership conference is a huge honor, and students have the opportunity to demonstrate their workplace skills, gain new insights by attending workshops, earn valuable industry certifications, and be recognized for their individual achievements,” Advisor Mary Bachnak said. “In my opinion, BPA is the most valuable student organization for those interested in business careers. These students truly are the future of business.”
