Joining CASS has been a really important part of Miranda Heil’s (11) life since she started high school. She decided to join because she had gone through bullying herself and didn’t want other kids to feel the way she did. Miranda really wanted to help younger students feel safe and supported, so being part of CASS gave her a way to do that. It’s helped her grow and made her feel like she’s making a difference.
“I joined CASS because of my personal experience with bullying as a child, and I wanted to teach younger kids the importance of kindness,” Heil said.
“In my free time, I enjoy watching my niece and nephews. Spending time with them is always so fun and it always brings me joy,” Heil said.
Her family means a lot to her, and spending time with them helps her stay energized and motivated to do her best in everything else. Looking to the future, Heil is really excited about what’s next. After she graduates, she plans to go to Purdue Northwest and study Medical Science. She wants to work in healthcare someday because she loves helping people and making a difference. It’s a big goal, but she’s ready to work hard and follow her dreams.
“After I graduate from high school, I plan to go to Purdue Northwest, PNW, to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science,” Heil said.
