Natalie Rajcinoski (10) has her own nail business. Nail businesses can come with challenges along the way, but the challenges can also come with great success.
“My old nail tech did poorly on my sets of nails, so I decided to begin doing them for myself and my friends. Also, to make some money on the side, but it’s hard having enough money to purchase all of the supplies I need,” Rajcinoski said.
Like any other business, Rajcinoski had to overcome challenges at the start. Throughout her time doing nails, she has improved, and now she can challenge herself and push herself to the limits.
“At the beginning of starting my nail business, it was hard learning to do nails. I like when people show me a picture of a design idea so I can challenge myself to recreate that design to the best of my abilities,” Rajcinoski said.
Rajcinoski has done many sets of nails, but she does have favorites.
“My favorite set of nails I have ever done on a client was very detailed, the thumbnail was a pink French tip, the pointer finger had a black star on it, the middle finger had an eight-ball design on it, the ring finger had an abstract light and dark pink design, and the pinky finger had two cherries on it. They were my favorite because I liked how they came out and how the different colors look together,” Rajcinoski said.
Over time Rajcinoski has found a way to start a business, get it through the hard times, and make good memories within the business.
