With the mission to “Make Kindness the Norm,” the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation aims to make the world a better place and encourage people to act in ways that always support others. During February, they hosted their annual Random Acts of Kindness Week, where everyone is encouraged to spread more kindness than usual.
At Crown Point High School, The Cure, a club centered around spreading kindness, sticks Post-It notes with kind messages all around the hallways. Senior Luca Rodrigue has been a part of this operation for over 4 years.
“I like writing and putting up these Post-It notes all over the school because I hope it will at least impact one person’s day and make it better,” said Rodrigue. “Spreading kindness is something that should always be done, because it is always free and the effect it can have on people is great.”
With the hope of creating a kinder environment for students and faculty, hundreds of these Post-It notes that have inspiring messages on them have been put up in the hallways for the week.
