Sectionals is the peak of the high school swim season. The team is tapered, rested, and ready to go. The boys team fought long in a battle against their biggest rivals, Munster and Lake Central. The boys were not seeded to win and ended up closing a huge gap in points. They finished their season as sectional runner-ups. Though disappointing, it was a great outcome for a great season. Seniors Carter Trippeer and Ethan Krstevski have been putting their best foot forward since they joined the team, leaving it better than then when they joined. Juniors Collin Bood and Lucas Barnes both dropped time to lead their teams to success. Sophomores Jackson Kuhlenschmidt and Jeremiah Biancardi stepped up their game to place well for their team. All in all the boys team worked hard all season and swam as hard as possible.
