2023 Timeline

A Year in Review

January- Russian Invasion with Ukraine

 

February- Former President James Earl Carter announced that he was deciding to discontinue his additional medical intervention. He has chosen to receive hospice care and spend the remaining time he has at home with his family. 

March-  Taylor Swift Eras Tours Starts 

April- The Phantom of the Opera was showcased in New York at the Majestic Theater 

May- Russia launched fresh missile strikes on Ukraine. 

June- A law that suspends the nation’s debt through January 1, 2025 was signed by president Joe Biden. 

July- Oppenheimer and Barbie came out with Barbie being the #1 movie box office movie earning more than $1.38 billion. The movie is the largest worldwide film release of 2023.

The release date for New York Times best seller Colleen Hoover “It Ends With Us’ ‘ was also announced. The movie release date as of now is February 9, 2024. 

August-  Pedro Pascal went viral on TikTok with over 300,00 videos made and 6 million views.

September- Syrian War increased  in early September 2023.

October- Loki Season Two was released, leaving marvel fans, “in tears” and “complete.”

November- Thanksgiving (Movie) came out, with a rising box office of $45.5 million. 

December-  Hamilton the Musical is in Chicago until January 7, 2024. The Hamilton movie was released in the year 2020 and since has grown its fan- base worldwide.
