The girls Gymnastics Team earned many important achievements this year

The Bulldogs won state for the second time in three years after coming off their record-breaking undefeated season.

Elly Kiran’s accomplishments at the state meet made her only the second in IHSAA gymnastics history to hit the trifecta of team champion, all-around champion and the Mental Attitude Award winner.

Congratulations to the Girls Gymnastics Team for having an amazing season. This year they won state for the second time in three years. Congratulations to all of the seniors who have worked hard throughout their gymnastic careers. Click here to read more about these amazing athletes.

Elyse Anderson, Staffer

Elyse Anderson is a freshman at Crown Point High School. This is Andersons’s first year on the Excalibur staff, but this is her second year working on a yearbook since she was on her middle school's staff in 8th grade. Anderson is an outgoing person who joined because of her passion for writing and taking creative photos. Other than being on the yearbook staff, Anderson is a swimmer for her high school team. When Anderson graduates, she aspires to become a pilot and plans to get her pilot's license in the near future.

Aydin Nowak, Staffer

Aydin Nowak is a sophomore at Crown Point High School. This is Nowak's first year on staff. Nowak took photojournalism his freshman year and decided to take yearbook with his friend from photojournalism. Nowak enjoys taking pictures of the events going on around the school. Outside of yearbook, Nowak participates in Key Club. Nowak is considering a career in the business area.
