Often, society is willing to recognize great acts of kindness. Populations worship the dad who saves his little girl, the officers who sacrifice their lives for others, million dollar donations to charities and other massive acts of kindness. However, small acts of kindness often go unnoticed by the crowd. The person who helps a stranger to pick up their fallen books, the student who is willing to dedicate their in-class work time to helping a neighbor understand the assignment, the seemingly inconsequential mercies are all unrecognized. Sweet Tea works to bridge that gap between large and small acts of kindness. 

Sweet Tea works the same as any other gossip column: reporters are known only to the writers, sources are kept anonymous and the hottest kindness gossip is spread amongst the school. Sweet Tea works to inspire kindness in others by recognizing the small and caring acts of the modern day. In order to foster a better future, the greatness of today must first be understood.

gossip column cannot happen without your help. Come forward, recognize that friend that has never been unkind. Recognize others for their kindness and allow us to help CPHS achieve a community that better values the small acts of kindness that are prevalent, but unnoticed, in the world today.
