This Mammoth concert was presented as a birthday present back in October, and finally the time came to actually see the band. Despite originally going to see one of the opener bands, Return to Dust, the experience was unforgettable. After arriving at the venue, the first stop was the merch line. While waiting in line, it was soon realized that the singer of Return to Dust was sitting by the band’s merch table greeting fans, which was absolutely insane. Having gotten to meet the singer of the band that was about to be on stage in less than half an hour was one of the most memorable parts of this concert.
The actual music was incredibly played by both the opening bands, Return to Dust and Myles Kennedy, and the main attraction, Mammoth. All of the music played by these musicians was incredible. Return to Dust, being the primary reason for attending this concert, arguably had the best performance. Their stage presence was incredible and energetic, truly bringing out the energy as the opening act. Myles Kennedy was not the absolute best, but was still decent regarding stage presence. Mammoth was extremely energetic and their music was played well. They were very excited to be there and it made the experience more fun and memorable.
After the concert was over, we returned to the merch line only to find all of the Return to Dust band members were now sitting by their table. Getting to meet the whole band was exhilarating to say the least. This concert was arguably the most memorable yet.
