The Crown Point High School Varsity basketball team has made history this season by ending the year in the final four playoff bracket. The team has also made it to regionals two years in a row to keep up its winning streak. They ended this past season with an exciting record of 23-3, which is the highest record they have ended a season with so far.
“It’s been a great group of guys for the past four years I’ve been here,” senior Kolby Henderlong said. “I just like being able to build connections with the seniors that we had this year. Quinn and I have grown so much this year. He’s helped me with things not just only inside basketball, but outside.”
Having a good team dynamic can help any team and players succeed tremendously in their sport. These players on the basketball team have worked together to accomplish their ultimate goals of winning and going far in their season. The team’s dynamic of helping each other succeed came into play when focussing on team bonding and bettering your playing strengths.
“We have so many good players around us, which just made me a better player playing with them,” senior Quinn Begley said.
The CPHS Varsity basketball team has victoriously beaten their records by ending in a 23-3 record and being a part of the final four. The team put in the work and made a successful season out of it.
“I love being here. I love these kids,” Coach Swan said. “You know, I sometimes tell other coaches some of the issues or problems that I have here and they laugh at me because I don’t have problems here like what other schools have. We have great kids from great families and they make my job really easy.”
