Unpopular opinions can often be difficult to express, especially when one is aware that the public may disagree. In this video, students were given the opportunity to express these “hot takes” in an open-minded environment–the hallways of Crown Point High School.

Ma’Rae Wallace, Video Director
Ma’Rae Wallace is a senior at Crown Point High School. This will be her third year on the Inklings staff, and this year she is the Video Director. As a person with a love for writing, she joined the newspaper to grow as a writer and as a person. Outside of Inklings, she dances at The Cross Church, reads, sings, and even works at the local Culver’s. She is happy to spend her final year of high school creating final memories to last a lifetime.
Allie Landgrave, Lead Writer and Assistant Business Manager
Allie Landgrave is a sophomore at Crown Point High School. This year will be her first year on the Inklings staff. Landgrave is a Lead Writer for the 2025-2026 school year. She joined the Inklings staff due to her love of writing and informing. When she’s not writing for the newspaper, she enjoys listening to music, swimming, and ballroom dancing.
