Orange-Out

On Friday, August 25th, a unique football game was held at Crown Point High School.

“This game probably means more to me than any big victory on the football field,” said Head Coach Buzz.

This game was a friendly competition between two high schools to help raise awareness for leukemia. Coach Buzz was diagnosed with leukemia 3 years ago. The principal of Taft High School, who was also diagnosed 5 years ago, contacted Coach Buzz about playing a game to help people with their condition.

“I’m here to hopefully impact kids, students, and a community, but also rally a lot of people tonight for a common cause, not necessarily to find a cure, but to bring awareness of how people can go about saving lives for people that have leukemia.”
