Jelly Roll Review

Jelly Roll Review

103.5 Kiss FM held its annual Jingle Ball concert on December 4, 2023. The line-up included big names such as Doechii, Kalii, (G)I-DLE, Lil Wayne, Big Time Rush, and most notably, Jelly Roll.

Jelly Roll has risen to fame as a singer-songwriter known for his blend of rock, hip-hop, rap, and country. He explores things such as addiction, pain, struggle, mental health, and redemption from those things. He has stated his mission statement in the music industry as “real music for real people with real problems.”

Jelly Roll has released multiple songs that people connect with like “Only”, “Son of a Sinner”, Need a Favor” and “Save Me”, which just reached number 1 on the country billboard.

As for Jelly’s performance during the concert, I was thoroughly entertained and enthralled. He was able to connect with the audience and talk to us. He sang his biggest songs, and while some did not know them, the whole arena lit up with singing from those who did. He had a great stage performance, making you not want to take your eyes off of him. Having gone to the concert strictly for him, I was sad that he was only able to perform four songs, but he made me leave wanting more.

Needless to say, I will be going to his future concerts.

As for this concert, I would definitely give Jelly’s performance a 10/10.
